Final Day

Here are some pictures to remind us what a FANTASTIC time we had! It definitly is a Christmas to remember FOREVER! We are so lucky to have been able to go, and the only thing that would have made it better was if Brit and Emily's families could have been there! That will be the last time we go and stay with Andy and Meg....because they are moving HOME!!!! It has been a great experience for them, AND US....and we thank them for being such good host's whenever we have come. Now, hurry up and get to Utah!

DAY 10

Megan was able to change her dr. appt so that I could go with her and hear the baby's hearbeat. It is so amazing, and everything sounds good! Later we went to the pool, and the guys went to check out the "Black Pearl" from the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean"! Just think.....Johnny Depp had walked there!!!! Later that night the guys went racing again.

DAY 9

We went to the North Shore today! It was a great day! We saw the Temple, walked to beautiful grounds...then went body surfing. The waves were 12-15 feet high. That water is so powerful, and just throws you wherever! We all had more sand in our suits than you can imagine! We ate at Romy's Shrimp Shack. And afterwards got a shave ice at Aoki's. It was a really long day, and we were exausted that night~we all slept great!

DAY 8

The guys went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, and the girls went to the swap meet. Later we went to the pool. Not alot of pictures this day, but was a FUN one! PS- I know the picture is sideways.....can't move it! It's just a tourist anyway!

Night 7

The guys really wanted to go and try out this new place called Podium Race Cars. It's an indoor track, with an arcade. Tate helped Carson win a few games, and the guys each got to race. Carson was too short, so he just got to sit in a car, and feel what it will be like when he can drive. They had sooooo much fun! It was so loud in there that you could hardly hear each other.
They loved it so much, they went back on another night too. They had a huge score board, that would show their speed, and what place they were in. There were about 10 cars in their race.

DAY 7

GYM class! Carson's coach is named Coach Utah, because that is where he is from! Livvy just loves to watch and play...little cheeser!

The big guys hiked up to Manoa Falls. Abush even braved the water, which he said was sooo cold! It was a pretty good hike for them~

Carson went with the girls, we watched him at his gym class and he is so smart, and follows directions so good! He is getting so strong too. Olivia just plays with the toys in the waiting area, guards her treats, and was also a joy to watch! Then we went to lunch, and got our toe nails painted. Olivia LOVED this! Carson even was pretty mesmerized watching us!

SO PRETTY! The ladies there just loved Livvy, and kept adding jewels to her toes....which she very quickly picked off!!! oh well, it was a fun day out!

DAY 6

Today we went to Lagoon 3. The guys tried out snorkeling, and we all swam. Abush even drove the golf cart all by himself to the Lagoon!!!! yikes! That evening, Megan had a cute Family Home Evening on choosing the right. The kids loved it, especially the music. Then we went bowling. Unfortunately, I forgot the camera. So I'll just tell you that Livvy loved it, and Carson is pretty darn good!

DAY 5

Today was a Sunday. We went to Megan and Andy's ward. The kids are so good, and love their classes. Olivia walks around in Sacrament meeting, and there is a family that always gives her treats. They call her "num num" because that is what she says when she sees them, hoping for a good snack! We had a nice dinner, and played candyland with Carson.

DAY 4

We traveled in STYLE!! Megan rented a golf cart for the week!~It was so nice to just hop on and drive to the beach, or the pool, or just around the resort. They have a new little convenience store close now, so we went there a few times too! Abush even got a chance to drive, and he did pretty darn good!

The girls spent most of the day shopping and the boys golfed! Megan and I decided to eat at the new Denny's, but after ordering, and waiting for 45 minutes, we left. It was fun to just sit and talk though! It was just soooo busy they couldn't keep up! When we got home, we decided to all go up to the pool, and have a bbq. They have several bbq's there for us to use! The pool is gorgeous, and the kids love it!

DAY 3

There were stickers at the beach, and Carson got one in his foot. Grandpa and Andy did a little surgery to remove it, it was TRAUMATIC for everyone!!!

After the beach, we played cards "Oh Hell" a game Andy and Meg taught us, and then everyone went to the lagoon to watch the fireworks for New Years!!! Except me and Livvy, we went to bed! The fireworks were so loud, it shook the house. Hawaii really puts on a show!

We went to Kailua Beach and rented a kayak and a stand up paddle board. They kayak'd to a little rock island, and said it was a great work out! Then we each tried to stand up paddle. It is harder than it looks!!! We had good burgers for lunch after playing hard! The "splash picture is me...Todd tried several times to get a picture of me standing....but I always went down too fast~It was fun, and hard to balance with the waves, but Tate, Todd and Andy did great!
