We are THaNkFul !!

This was a great Thanksgiving! EVERYONE was able to come, and Grandma Abel came too! We were just missing Abush!! The food was extra good, everyone did their best cooking!! Emily did the sweet potatoe casserole, Brit did her green bean casserole, Megan did her cranberry fluff and homemade rolls, and Kirsten made home made pies!! We set up the tables downstairs and played games too. Always a fun time of year, and time to remember just how blessed we are!

October 23, 2013 ~ Today is the day!

Abush leaves today. We dropped him off at the MTC at 1pm. It was so exciting to see all these missionaries standing outside to wait for the new kids. Earlier we went to brunch at Magleby's, and then went and got him a camera so he can take lots of pictures for us to see. He is starting a new adventure, working full time for the Lord, and I know he is ready and willing to do what needs to be done. We are so proud of him, and how much he has matured and grown up to be ready for this day. 2 years is a long time, but I know we will all be blessed for his efforts!!

By the Provo temple just before we drop him off

And there he goes.....

Final Steps until Abush leaves!!

After the dinner we went over to the stake house for Abush to be set apart as a full time missionary. It was a very special experience which we won't forget. He is ready! He is excited! He is nervous! And so are we...
