It's been a tradition in our family to open 1 gift on Christmas Eve, and surprise...it's always jammies~!! We wouldn't want Santa to check in on us in our old ones!!!

Christmas 2008...What a great day we had! As always, too much food, too many presents, and lots and lots of fun. Megan, Andy and Carson were able to be here! It is such a blessing to have everyone here for the holidays. Santa was very good to all of us!!!

I am Christmas

I am Christmas, I'm the kids gleaming at the present while my parents are asleep dreaming. So I go up ad to wake you guys up, and I can smell the beautiful smell
of chocolate and cocoa.
I am Christmas, I'm the toys filled with joy in the stockings. I am the one that makes the kids laugh and scream like pie with whip cream. I go outside and look at snow and see Christmas lights glow. I am Christmas, I am Christmas you will see, I am Christmas I am Christmas come with me.

A Whole Neighborhood!!!

Everyone had so much fun making their house! Even Todd got into it! They look fantastic, and I think we ate as much candy as we put on the houses! We are all getting so excited for Christmas!!!

This year Uncle Scott came from Texas! It was so good to see him. Tye and Jalair were with their Dad this year. The food was fantastic, Em MADE the pies! Brit always brings great relish trays and salads, and Dad did a great job with the turkey!! YUM

Jeremy Anderson 1974-2008

November 17th was a sad day. Emily's former husband was buried in Spanish Fork cemetery. He took his own life, and we'll never really know why, but he did struggle with depression, and made alot of poor choices in life. The best choices he made were to have 2 beautiful children that we treasure. Emily has handled this situation so well, and Todd and I are so proud of her. She is doing fine, but keep her in your prayers. It has been a hard year for us, and I am looking forward to 2009. But through everything, I can see blessings, and am greatful for them!

OUR NEW NEST!

I'll get pictures on soon, but wanted to let everyone know we moved. Not by choice, but we have found a home in Salem that we really are liking! Good thing, 'cause we bought it! I think one of the best things about it is it is completely finished! Nothing to work on, besides decorating, which is the fun part!!! I call it the house of mirrors and brass because the lady that built it, loved mirrored closet doors, and brass fixtures! We are slowly changing them out, painting, and making it our own! We are just glad to have a new place to call home, and not the camper!! We also have horses and cows out back which is so peaceful. We really feel like we are supposed to be here...hope it's not for Todd to be in a bishopric@! I'm not worried about it though, because I know his wife too well!!@

RODEO MAN

Tate has ridden in 3 rodeos recently. He took first place in one and second place in the others. He's on a roll!!! He is currently #11 in the state! Way to go Tate!

FOOTBALL SEASON 2008

Abush played football this year. His position was mostly the kicker. Sometimes he got to be quarterback! The most amazing play ever was when he was kicking a field goal, up, over the posts, IT'S GOOD! And after it started coming down, it landed right in the window of a truck driving by!!!!! They stopped the truck, threw out the ball, and drove off! I think he should have gotten extra points for that!
