Tate's 1st PRCA Rodeo in Nephi Utah

Silver State in Fallon Nevada

We went to Fallon, Nevada for Tate's last high school rodeo. They had alot for the kids to do, like water volleyball, a trap shoot, and a dance every night.

We stayed with our good friends Steve and DeeDee Woodhouse. They were so gracious, and just let us come and go as we pleased!

We took a day and went to Virginia City where they filmed "Bonanza"! It's an old mining town. We also toured an old mansion. It was really neat!

Tate didn't do so well bull riding, but it was a fun week for all of us, and the Utah Team WON again

Meg's birthday

Since we wouldn't be with Megan on her birthday, we celebrated a little early. Cold Stone birthday cake is the BEST!!! Her dinner of choice was "BASKETTI"!!! yummy

State Rodeo in Heber

Tate qualified for the high school rodeo team for the 4th year in a row! We always have fun there. This year it was cooler, and it rained. Good thing we had the rain poncho.....it shielded us from the mud from the horses as they ran by!

Tate didn't ride that well, but he still qualified for Silver State in Fallon Nevada in July. Good job Tate, you've had a good year!

FATHER'S DAY 2010

We had a really nice Father's Day, starting with Tate speaking in church about Fathers. He did such a great job, and spoke of the huge responsibility dad's have. Of course, he has had the greatest example ever in his own Dad and Grandpa's. Grandma Abel even came down to hear him talk, and then stayed for our awesome STEAK FRY that the kids all did!

Memorial Day 2010

We had a fun bbq and a little swimming for the kids. Emily's good friend Meredith was here from Texas, and Shawny came too! The more the merrier~It's always fun to get together! Then we went up to Jeremy's grave to take flowers.
